interior for Synchroon

Nieuwegein | Papendonk

2009

The commission for the interior of Synchroon is situated in a new office building of Meyer en van Schooten Architecten at Papendorp office park in Utrecht. The design for the interior is aimed at breaking free from the existing building and meeting Synchroon’s corporate culture. The basis for the design is a wide central area providing access to the offices at the front. Together with the dividing cabinet walls and the louvre walls that separate the office areas, the central area forms a structure that regulates the programme. By materialising this entire structure in oak, an unambiguous composition arises that breaks free from the existing building.
