Winters company premises

Breda | Steenakker

2008

The starting point for the design is a rectangular volume, with a powerful allure due to an unambiguous materialisation of coloured concrete. A projection in the volume generates a covered entrance, a patio and a roof terrace bordering the canteen. The projection also provides a special incidence of light and gives the building the required privacy. A rhythmic succession of concrete panels determines the architecture of the facade. The wall cladding panels are continued around the industrial unit. The façade finish gives the company premises a strong identity, setting it apart from the head-tail solution typical of business premises.
